Andy started his career in the civil service at a Job Centre and went to work in computer-aided design for an engineering company after seeing a role advertised in the Job Centre! Andy stayed for 24 years, moving into finance before becoming MD, and joined Airmaster for a fresh challenge in May 2019.

Andy said "My job involves a lot of number crunching! Preperation of management accounts, cashflow forecastering, work in progress calculations... the things most people find boring, but I love.

The best thing about Airmaster is the people. The whole ethos promotes such a great team spirit - one for all, all for one.

My grandfather inspires me most, a hardworking, devoted family man to be admired. Outside work I love golf. I have only been playing for two years and I'm a member at Wortley Golf Club... I'm there every week and more if a can.

And the thing people won't know about me? I have a tattoo of a Tasmanian Devil on my chest!"
