Airmaster shortlisted for not one but two regional awards!

Airmaster has been shortlisted in the SME of the Year category at the Make UK Manufacturing Awards for the North East, Yorkshire and Humber to be held on Thursday 17th October 2024 at the Rameside Hotel in Co. Durham.

The award has been developed to champion businesses with less than 250 employees who have blazed a trail within the manufacturing sector. They will have led by example and developed progressive best practice for others in the industry. They will have shown exceptional initiative, boldness and dynamism, as well as exemplary management practices.

Airmaster has also been shortlisted in the Medium Business of the Year category at the Connect Yorkshire Business Awards to be held on Thursday 28th November 2024 at The Royal Armouries in Leeds.

The award highlights businesses that have achieved sustainable growth, innovation, and operational excellence. The judges are looking for businesses that strike the right balance, contribute to job creation, and drive economic progress in their sectors.

2023/2024 has been a record year for Airmaster with the business growing to £12m turnover and them completing their largest ever project a circa £4million fit out of a full office building, for a customer of over 20 years, the project has been a team effort working to a tight programme and the standard of workmanship from all the trades was outstanding.

Lisa Pogson, Managing Director, said “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for these two regional awards, we have a great team at Airmaster and this is recognition of their efforts which has led to the business growth and new projects we have taken on in the last couple of years. We will also be celebrating the completion of our transition to become an employee-owned business soon.”
